JoAnne Mulhall is a De Beers national award-winning designer with over 20 years of fine jewelry design experience and a broad knowledge of production, uniquely qualifying her to bring together the highest quality design with leading edge manufacturing techniques.
An artist since childhood, JoAnne continued to refine her skills through various art forms including drawing, painting, weaving, sculpture, illustration and costume design. Feeling that jewelry was the ideal combination of her artistic skills and creative passions, she discovered her love for designing with metals and gems while taking a jewelry course in college.
JoAnne's experience has been diverse ranging from freelance illustration work for a variety of media to designing collections for some of the most prominent names in the jewelry industry that have won national acclaim and widespread distribution.
She has worked in the capacity of Director of International Production for renowned jewelry designer Henry Dunay with global distribution managing the production process for all jewelry orders. She has worked as a custom design consultant in both retail and private settings, meeting with clients to design and create custom orders.
In 1992, her work was chosen among twelve young designers nationwide to be highlighted in the "New Designer Gallery" at the famed Jewelers of America show in New York City.
Three years later, she was the recipient of the prestigious "Diamonds Today National Design Award" presented to her from De Beers.

With over twenty years of experience as a designer, custom design consultant, model-maker, jeweler and director of international production, Jo Anne's reputation in the industry has become firmly established. In 2004, JoAnne was one of ten designers selected to develop concepts, designs and specification renderings for the World Gold Council's worldwide promotion and advertising campaign" The Global Product Initiative Program".
She has been recognized by Jewelry International Magazine as one of five American Jewelry Designers to watch and her jewelry designs have been featured in numerous trade and consumer publications such as: Town and Country, Departures, Modern Bride, The Ritz Carlton Magazine, Distinction Magazine, Birmingham Magazine, Modern Bride's Bridal Guide, The New York Post, Elle, Brides, New York Magazine, National Jeweler, Jewelers Circular Keystone, Jewelry Connoisseur Magazine and on NBC Weekend Today.
In November and December of 2004 Ms. Mulhall was the highlighted Designer in the fine jewels salon at Sak's Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City.
In October of 2005, Jo Anne's jewelry designs were featured on runway models promoting Jennifer Lopez and Andy Hilfiger's new "Sweet Face" Ready-to-Wear collection of women's contemporary apparel.
Jo Anne approaches designing each piece of jewelry as a complete piece of wearable art that must look beautiful from every angle. Her goal is to strike a balance between elegance and strength creating jewelry that reflects the highest standards of value, art and integrity. She is an executive board member of The Jewelry Design Professionals' Network and a member of the Women's Jewelry Association.
